Our Jewish Music
is a mix of different "ritmos" that
exemplify the variety of our Jewish
culture. From the Yehuda Glantz
Sephardim Orhodox music to the Southern
USA sound of Rabbi Micha with the Jazz of
David Goldstein, the modern sound of
Yehuda to the local sound of Matanah and
Fortuity. What a mix!
We look forward
that you enjoy our music and support our
musicians. Enjoy it.

Seth
Nedel - New CD "One thing I
ask"
|
|
|
Seth’s music is a high-energy hybrid of
rock, pop, folk, and blues. Critics have
called his music, “Dylan, Springsteen,and
the Counting Crows meet Carlebach and
Diaspora,” and “a fun rockin’ Jewish good
time.”
“Reb Seth” has traveled North America
playing Jewish music at Shabbatonim,
cafés, high schools, universities,
summer camps and synagogues.
|
Over the past five years, he has performed
for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. On
stage, he weaves words of Torah and Chassidic tales
in between his songs. He believes, like the
Chassidic Masters have taught, that music is a
vehicle that can bring one closer to G-d. Whether
performing solo or along with his band, his
performances are energetic and uplifting
|
Well-known Israeli standards are
transformed with a dynamic world beat
sound. The addition of chants and
superimposed harmonies over multiple
Middle Eastern rhythems result in an
exhilirating multi-ethnic groove!
The energetic and exotic join the
beautiful and the meditative to produce an
exciting collection that will connect you
to the spirit, history and dream of
Israel. This Album is a must have for
anyone who loves Israel, world music or
any music with a groove!

Aqua Pa' la
Gente
Rated JU-17 (mature)
None of this
Latin and Jewish identity would matter
much, musically that is, if the Hoodios
didn't bring it. And bring it they do,
marrying klezmer with cumbia, hard-core
hip-hop with Santanaesque grooves.
Somehow it all
works, thanks to cameos from members of
Santana and the participation of alter
latino acts such as Jaguares, La Barranca,
and Orixa & Los Mocosos.

You might
snicker at the lyrics to "Ocho
Kandelikas," but you're going to dance,
too.
